One of the most satisfying aspects of your visit will be the extensive time you are able to spend with our physician to discuss your health concerns and health goals. The physician will explain the results of your tests, in detail, and answer any questions you may have. Depending on the package you select you will benefit from one of the following physician services:
- Comprehensive Examination - A comprehensive medical history review and physical examination by an Internal Medicine Specialist. This includes a review of your health risk questionnaire, medications, and lifestyle factors, such as diet and nutrition, exercise, stress management, use of alcohol or tobacco, personal safety and other disease risks.
- Cardio-focused Examination - This examination done by a Cardiologist assesses your cardiovascular health, reviews your health risk questionnaire and family history for risks of heart disease or stroke.

Our packages include a variety of lab tests which, in combination with our imaging and cardiovascular tests, offers the most intensive study of your overall health available.
Complete Blood Count with Differential CBC - Measures cellular components of blood including white cells, red cells and platelets. Results may indicate anemia, infection, clotting disorders, or leukemia.
Complete Lipid Panel - Measures total cholesterol in the blood including HDL, LDL, and triglycerides. This panel is important in evaluating the risk of coronary artery disease.
Comprehensive Metabolic Panel – This panel includes 17 blood tests to check kidneys, liver, gallbladder, other organs and systems. It is provides electrolytes, protein production and nutrition.
C-Reactive Protein – An important marker for assessing the risk and extent of cardiovascular disease.
Estrogen – In females, estrogen levels that are out of balance may cause abnormal menstrual cycles, bleeding, infertility, premature menopause, other hormonal alterations, and fetal placental competence in pregnancy. In males, estrogen can cause female-like characteristics.
Fibrinogen - Evaluates the normal clotting function of blood and can indicate factors in cardiovascular disease.
Fecal Occult Blood Test (FOBT) – Fecal Occult Blood test may be done to check for intestinal conditions or colorectal cancer through the presence of blood in the stool.
Hemoglobin A1c - Measures glycated hemoglobin, an indication of blood sugar control over the previous 2-3 months.
Homocysteine A – The building block of body proteins, high levels may indicate cardiovascular disease.
NMR LipoProfile® - A new lipid sub-fraction blood test that measures the actual number of dangerous LDL particles that build up in the arteries and cause heart disease.
Lipoprotein (a) - High levels of Lp(a) may indicate increased risk of developing cardiovascular disease.
Nutrition Panel & Iron Study - Important for issues of anemia or iron-overload, also measures important vitamins like B12 and folic acid, iron binding and transport mechanisms.
Pap Smear – Screen for cervical cancer
Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA) – And elevated PSA may indicate malignant prostate cancer, benign enlargement (hyperplasia) or inflammation (prostatitis).
Testosterone - In males, abnormal Testosterone levels may cause erectile dysfunction, infertility, or puberty onset. In females, it may cause appearance of masculine physical features.
Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH) - Levels may help identify overactive or under active thyroid gland which controls metabolism, temperature, cholesterol level, memory, and other aspects of health.
Thyroid Studies - Evaluation of thyroid hormones T-uptake, thyroxine and free thyroxine index.
Uric Acid - Checks for high levels of uric acid, an indicator of gout, and a monitoring tool during chemotherapy or radiation treatments for cancer.
Urinalysis - A multi-faceted tool assessing overall health by checking specific gravity, pH, leukocytes, nitrites, proteins, glucose, ketones, urobilinogen, bilirubin and blood.

Heart disease is the leading killer for both men and women. The Center offers several cardiology tests to uncover signs of disease in the heart and vascular system. These, along with blood tests and imaging tests like the Heart CT, provide our physician, you and your personal physician with extensive information about your heart health and risk of future heart disease.
Ankle Brachial Index - Checks for signs of peripheral vascular disease, a serious and common circulatory problem.
Echocardiogram - Non-invasive imaging uses sound wave pictures of the heart to check strength of heart muscle, fluid around the heart, problems with heart valves, congenital heart disease, and pressures within the heart.
Electrocardiogram - 12 Lead (also called an EKG or ECG) A simple test that detects and records the electrical activity of the heart. It is used to detect and locate the source of heart problems An EKG is sometimes called a 12-lead EKG (or 12-lead ECG) because the electrical activity of the heart is most often recorded from 12 different places on the body at the same time.
Impedance Cardiography - A non-invasive technology to see how well the heart is functioning. Uses electrical properties to measure how much blood the heart pumps.
Stress Echocardiogram - During exercise, sound wave pictures of the heart are monitored non-invasively for abnormal function that may not be evident when heart is at rest.
Stress Test - Highly accurate, non-invasive means of testing for significant coronary artery disease in patients with high CAD risk profile.

We offer advanced, non-invasive imaging services that may detect disease in its earliest stages before symptoms even occur and when treatment can be most effective. These imaging tests are included in our packages or may be purchased individually.
Abdominal Aortic Ultrasound - Scans body’s main artery for signs of weakening or expanding that can lead to aortic aneurysm.
Breast Ultrasound - Ultrasound imaging of the breast produces a picture of the internal structures of the breast. During a breast ultrasound examination the sonographer or physician performing the test may use Doppler techniques to evaluate blood flow or lack of flow in any breast mass.
Carotid Artery Ultrasound Sound - Waves are used to examine the main arteries supplying blood to the brain and face to assess risk of future cardiovascular events such as stroke.
CT Abdomen Scan - Typically used to help diagnose the cause of abdominal pain and diseases of the bowel and colon, such as, abscesses in the abdomen, inflamed colon, cancers of the liver, pancreas and kidneys, pancreatitis, lymphoma, diverticulitis and appendicitis.
CT Heart Scan / Calcium Scoring - A non-invasive imaging that provides clear, 3-dimensional pictures of heart, showing coronary artery calcification (indicating coronary plaque build-up) and other abnormalities of the heart muscle.
CT Chest Scan – A non-invasive CT scan to look at the internal organs, bones, soft tissue, and blood vessels of the chest to help detect early signs or symptoms of disease.
CT Colon Scan - (also known as Virtual colonoscopy) Virtual colonoscopy is a minimally invasive, safe and more comfortable procedure for colon screening. Recent studies have shown it to be comparable to conventional colonoscopy for finding polyps larger than one centimeter. The risk of cancer in smaller polyps is almost negligible. With virtual colonoscopy, 100% of the colon surface can be seen. It is estimated that physicians only see 70%-80% of the colon surface with conventional colonoscopy.
CT Lung Scan - A painless and non-invasive way to detect pulmonary problems like lung tumors at earliest stages when they can be treated most effectively.
CT Pelvic Scan - Trans-vaginal imaging uses sound waves to check lower abdominal organs, especially bladder and reproductive organs.
Osteoporosis Screening (DEXA) - A non-invasive imaging technology that quickly and painlessly checks for loss of bone density (osteoporosis).
