Heart disease is the leading killer for both men and women. The Center offers several cardiology tests to uncover signs of disease in the heart and vascular system.  These, along with blood tests and imaging tests like the Heart CT, provide our physician, you and your personal physician with extensive information about your heart health and risk of future heart disease.

Ankle Brachial Index - Checks for signs of peripheral vascular disease, a serious and common circulatory problem.

Echocardiogram - Non-invasive imaging uses sound wave pictures of the heart to check strength of heart muscle, fluid around the heart, problems with heart valves, congenital heart disease, and pressures within the heart.

Electrocardiogram - 12 Lead (also called an EKG or ECG) A simple test that detects and records the electrical activity of the heart. It is used to detect and locate the source of heart problems An EKG is sometimes called a 12-lead EKG (or 12-lead ECG) because the electrical activity of the heart is most often recorded from 12 different places on the body at the same time.

Impedance Cardiography - A non-invasive technology to see how well the heart is functioning. Uses electrical properties to measure how much blood the heart pumps.

Stress Echocardiogram - During exercise, sound wave pictures of the heart are monitored non-invasively for abnormal function that may not be evident when heart is at rest.

Stress Test - Highly accurate, non-invasive means of testing for significant coronary artery disease in patients with high CAD risk profile.
